The helmet sold me

“I was a designer for cabinetry for years and it wasn’t going anywhere and I missed being downtown. Spot of Tea needed someone who likes to talk to people, likes history and likes to be downtown. The helmet sold me. They created a walking map and a script with 25 stops. It goes down to Water Street and Fort. Conde and we end at Joe Cain’s grave. I fill in anecdotes along the way. I naturally like talking about downtown. I originally grew up outside of Denver and came here in 2005. I visited a friend and moved here. Mobile is accessible and there is always something going on. It has changed so much just over the last three years. I love the people.”
