I scaffolded the Franklin Roosevelt Bridge in New York

“I’m a scaffolding foreman. You have go to school and train for this, but I have been doing it since 1989 and piecing things together comes naturally for me. The pieces are different sizes and they fit together like Legos. I scaffolded the Franklin Roosevelt Bridge in New York. It was 454 feet in scaffolding, but I am not afraid of heights.

It’s a good job. When I am not working I like to ride by motorcycle to the beach.”

“Do you wear a helmet?”

“No. You don’t have to wear a helmet in Florida, but my mama still tries to make me wear it.”
