It is rewarding to make people better and hear them say they didn’t know they could feel good again

“I had a shoulder injury playing football in high school and a chiropractor adjusted my shoulder. He cut my rehab in half and I was still able to play football. I became a chiropractor and started my own practice six months ago. It is rewarding to make people better and hear them say they didn’t know they could feel good again. Before we opened I was training for a triathalon. I had all of the parts in place, but then I started spending 60 hours a week here and didn’t have time to train. It is also hard with a one-year old. I got out of shape and ran out of time, but the triathlon is my New Year’s resolution. I am not typically motivated to do something like this, but I had a dream that I was in a triathlon and had the feeling of success even though I hadn’t been running or exercising. My wife ran a half marathon and I figured if she can do it, I can too. I started running, then swimming and biking. I am going to start back and do it in 2016. I am laid back and not competitive, but it is for the sense of accomplishment.”
