She left me on my knee for about five minutes

“We got engaged in February but we don’t know when we are getting married. We haven’t had time to even sit down and plan when we are going to do this. We both have kids and our two daughters drew a comic strip of how I should propose. It involved us going to a Bruno Mars concert, him singing ‘Marry You’ and me getting down on one knee with a bunch of roses. I tried to get Bruno but he is on tour so I got help from a friend who looks like Bruno and does karaoke. We went out to eat with the kids and my daughter said ‘That guy looks like Bruno Mars.’ He said, ‘As a matter of fact, I even sound like him.’ He pulled out a microphone and sang “Marry You,” the manager of the restaurant came out with the flowers and I got down on one knee.”

“The kids all had signs that said Will You Marry Me? I didn’t know it was going to happen. We had always joked about it and knew we needed to do it.”

“She left me on a knee for about five minutes. Other people in the restaurant were thinking this could go horribly wrong.”

“I bent down and said, ‘Is this for real?'”

“Yes it is for real. Say yes or no, everyone is looking at us, including our children.”

“We have known each other for years but we fell in love after a Bama game. I texted him and said I was having a drink and asked him to join me. It was just in fun because we have known each other for so long and we had seen each other there once before and we had teased about having a drink. I didn’t think he would show up.”

“She sent me a text of a martini. It said nothing so I found out where she was and I went and we had a few martinis. The fall in love part is John Legends fault. The DJ was playing ‘All of Me’ and she got closer and closer and planted one on me. True story.”

“That wasn’t me. It was the martinis.”

“Whoever created the martini, thank you.”
