We do community service in Mobile and Prichard

August 11, 2019

“The name of our group is Disrupshun. There are over 200 of us and we do community service in Mobile and our city of Prichard. We clean up the community and do a food market every Saturday. We just had an ACT prep class and volunteer at events. I started it when I was a freshman at Vigor High School just had an ACT prep class. I didn’t see enough community service in Prichard and wanted to give every teenager a fair chance. The first thing we did was a voter registration drive. I am to leaving soon for Stillman College and majoring in computer science. It feels so good to bring change and know that Disrupshun will keep going after I am gone.  I was also an Azalea Trail Maid. Leaving Disrupshun and Prichard is not the end. I want to keep making a difference in Alabama.”
