We have been married for 40 years. He’s not any harder to put up with than me

“I am a pipefitter and have been a welder for 25 years. I worked for Exxonmobil and the plants from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. It is a dangerous job and you have to work safe or they will fire you.”

“We have been married for 40 years. He’s not any harder to put up with than me.”

“I don’t believe in making it hard, you have to make it easy. You talk about things and if you can’t talk about it, you leave it alone. Knowing the Lord and believing in the Bible has kept us together.”

“We met through his sister. I used to work with her.”

“She asked if I wanted to go out with a good girl and I said, ‘Yeah, I guess so.'”

“At that time, I was better than what he had been going out with.”

“The Lord brought us together. She was instrumental in getting me saved. I sat on the back pew.”

“He still sits on the back pew and gets a nap in.”

“I work hard. When I go to church, I am tired out.”
