“‘How’s It Going to End?” is a line from The Truman Show—one of my favorite movies. I love its creepy irony but also its philosophical nature. It’s like Plato’s Cave: you see the shadows of life but never get to experience life until you go out into it. It’s the search for truth. I watched it a couple of days before I got married in 2023; we married in Seaside because the movie was filmed there.

I started watching The Truman Show in middle school, and there were parts I watched every day. It helped me get through a lot and to realize I wanted to be a creative writer. I just started grad school last week for creative writing. I love theater and own Eclipse Theatre Company—a new educational theatre in Mobile. All of this is a mix of who I am.”
