“We are from Lyon, France. We came here because she has a friend who met his wife in Mobile. We were driving through and we had to stop and say hello to him and walk around the city.”
“There are a lot of banks.”
“The people have been so friendly.”
“Everyone has waived and told us hello. That doesn’t happen in France. In cities there, the people will stare at you and say nothing.”
“We like the old architecture in Mobile. It is very calm and relaxed here.”
“We may be going to Georgia next. We aren’t sure. We are all in charge. In the beginning we were supposed to go to Louisiana but it is flooded and closed.”
“We are students and friends and traveling with our parents. We fly out of New Orleans the 29th. We spent two days in De Soto National Park and met a local man who taught us so much about food, politics and what is happening here. This is our first time to the U.S. and we like talking with people. We need to enjoy time with good people and put aside the things that are going wrong.”
