“This is my first day as a policeman. I am straight out of the academy and I am excited. My father was in law enforcement and I wanted to do something different every day and help people. The training is 16 weeks and they teach you awareness and to know where I am at all times. I build cars for fun. I find something that is cheap and rusted out and tow it to my house and tinker with it until I have it where I want it, sell it and then find a new project. I have done five or six cars so far and I usually spend more money on fixing them than I make on selling them. I have been building a jeep for about a year. I am patient and a perfectionist because something small can turn into something big later on.”
