“While we were raising kids we let music go until we saw Hot Tuna and Little Feat and we decided to do that as much as we can. Live music is a joyful thing and you can let go. My wife enjoys it as much as I do and being music fans has become a full-time job for us. I have been playing guitar every day for a long time, but I still don’t know what I am doing. I tell my wife they are investments. It is easier to fake it with a good guitar. I lose myself in playing guitar and play for whoever sits there, but my wife and kids aren’t paying admission. It adds another level to live music if you have knowledge of what is going on.”
