“I am a server and musician and will be teaching piano at several elementary schools in Baldwin County. I am also a freelance composer.”

“I am a freelance playwright. We just came back from performing ‘The Journey’ in Miami. I have been writing for ten years and ‘The Journey’ was my first produced show. We are working on our next production. It will be a hippie, European, vaudeville-type show. It will be a breath of fresh air after ‘The Journey.’ Fairhope gives us a place to be creative.”

“I always revered musicians and didn’t understand how they could to up to an instrument and make gorgeous music. I that they were magicians. Deep down I wanted to do it, but just a few years ago I realized I could do it as a career. It helped get me back on track and returned me to who I was as a kid. It can be tedious to create, but it feels so good when I am in it.”

“Writing a play is strange. Create a story and have the entire thing going on in your head and then see it. The first time we did the show, I cried often during the rehearsal process just watching it happen. Kristen Long wrote the songs and I wrote the story and characters around them. We stayed raw to the source material and people felt like parts of it was their story too. It puts your own life in perspective and makes it better.”
