I never had a chance to be a cheerleader, but I got to be one today. That is usually not me, but today it is

“I am the co-captain and drummer on our boat. This is a good way to build teamwork and help raise money for a good cause. I am a project manager and build things. I was part of a team building a tank and I help solve things at the Shell refinery. I have a lot of energy. I play classical piano and play piano at church. I started playing when I was five and it calms me. All of that energy goes to my fingers and feet. I quit music school and decided to be an engineer. Using both parts of my brain is a little weird, but it is good because most engineers wouldn’t think of doing things like rowing these boats. Last year we talked about it, this year we did it. I never had a chance to be a cheerleader, but I got to be one today. That is usually not me, but today it is.”
