“I have been in Memphis all of my life. I love living downtown with my view of the Mississippi River and walking to one of 15 restaurants within two blocks of my house. Memphis coming back has been slow progress but we are so proud of where it is now. I do photography on the side. I like to shoot unusual scenics out west. I shot pictures of two of Elvis’ girlfriends as models for our camera club. A friend knew them. Wow, that was over 50 years ago. He rode by my house once on his motorcycle. I went to one of his last concerts in Memphis and had four tickets to the concert he was supposed to play here on August 21, 1977, but he died a few days before that. I still have those tickets somewhere.”
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.
