“I am relaxing. I work for a corporation and I am on the road five days a week. I am working from home today and taking a little time to relax and unwind and pray. My job is stressful. My area is from New Orleans to South Carolina to Jacksonville, Florida. I leave Monday morning and come home Friday afternoon. I don’t have much downtime because I spend the weekends with my daughter. There is not much time to get out of the chaos to stop for a moment. It makes life go by really quickly and if you aren’t careful the important things are put aside. I will be honest with you, I think we are getting close to the end times. We need to make time for our priorities. Being out here is so good for me. I think we get afraid of peace and quiet and getting in touch with ourselves. I have been praying for my daughter today. I want to be the best mother I can be. She is 38 and still my greatest gift. I am an introvert and goal-oriented person, but I am trying to be more of a people person because if you miss out on people you miss out on so much of life.
I am 68 and have seen changes that a mind blowing. We can’t desensitize ourselves to things. Just because the majority believes it doesn’t make it right. I know Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior. You have to have something you have unshakable confidence in and live your life on what really matters. That is why time like this is important, to just stop. There are 24 hours a day and we can decide how our time is spent.”
