I am interviewing people on election day who are voting for both sides to understand what this election means to all voters and the people behind the votes.
“This is the most significant election in my lifetime, so far. It represents so many things important to our nation: the sanctity of human life, the safety and security of our nation, the blessing and prosperity of our nation, us moving forward economically, and moving forward with Israel. The elected officials not speak openly about faith in God and that is what made our country great before. I have two sons in the military and a daughter-in-love. My husband was military. Our military has been dumbed down. We need to be respected and feared again.
People around the world watch the division that has been created. It is detrimental to our nation. We have to find the common ground and quit focusing on the negative. Sara Sanders said it well, at some point, the leftists and liberals are going to have to decide do they love America more or do they hate the President more?
The negativity of the media has created this divide. It is what people are against instead of what they are for. We need to be for the things that unify us. I am a praying person and no there are believers and good people on the Democratic side too.
Trump has done some good things. He has done will with the business and the economy. It takes time to build the military back up.
All of the promises of free stuff that Democrats make, nothing is free. Someone has to pay for it. Free education, free college, the taxpayers are the ones who have to pay.
I believe the people are going to speak today. They are tired of the negativity and the rhetoric. It is time to do something productive together. I am encouraged and optimistic and believe there will be a huge red wave that will speak to social media and the news outlets. We need to respect our elected officials again.
We need to become a caring nation again. The rest of the world is watching how our division is making us weak. Let’s all get on the same page about something good. I hope this election is voting for principals and for standing for something. We are founded as a nation under God. We have lost our principals of human dignity.
My husband is a pastor and our church is interdenominational and interracial. Everyone is welcome. We have received criticism for having blacks in our church. I didn’t know that still existed in the South. We have biracial couples in the church and they are beautiful people. We have Asian and Hispanics. My husband pastored in South Carolina and big money guys wanted to back him in a church but they said he had to get rid of black members and he told them no. He had crosses burned in his yard and brick thrown his windows.
Our job is to love people with the love of God.
