“We are sisters raising our great-grandchildren together. I just turned 72.

“It is just like being a mother. The children are without one of the parents. They live with me. We come from nine siblings and accustomed to having crowds on our homes at all times. I have been alone for a month and I am almost crazy. I don’t like being alone. I like having my kids around. I also help take care of neighborhood kids. We took care of our mother and dad until they passed. He died six months after she passed. We have learned that love goes a long way.”
