Hospice isn’t about the people dying, it is about the people left behind. It is an amazing opportunity to witness to people

“I am from Kansas City and renting a house here for a month. I am going to fish the whole time. I usually go hunting this time of year, but it has been so hot that I can’t get the bird dogs out. Being outdoors gets my mind off of everything. I own hospice care facilities. I loved when missionaries come to our church. I didn’t want to be a missionary, but I wanted to serve. In 2007, I was going through a career change and thought this might be it. People question what is happening before they die and this is a time for evangelizing. Hospice isn’t about the people dying, it is about the people left behind. We deal with 45 deaths a month but many more family members. It is an amazing opportunity to witness to people. When people are near death, they are trying to figure it out. I sold office equipment for 19 years, I never thought I would do this. I want to have more centers and go into more states. I have been looking into Alabama. I would live down here.”
