“I am a principal and it is rare to get away from school during the summer. There is always a meeting or a report or I am thinking of ways to improve and do something better. My husband and I have been married for 22 years and this is the first year we have gotten away and we went to Vegas. Can you believe that? We had a promise that every year we would do something just he and I because we have always done something with the kids. We finally did it but I still did some work from my phone. It is rewarding when you see the kids and they have grown into adults and they remember you. It is good to get the kids back in here every year. The first day of school the teachers and I have a prayer time and we pray for the kids and school year. I know there is separation of church and state, but this is our way to start the year off right.”
