Elania: “Liliana lives in Crestview, Florida, and I live in Sacramento, CA. I’m a hovering mom. She told me she doesn’t need me, but when my child is by herself with no place to go in a hurricane, I have to help her get away from harm. Right now, it looks okay. We’re hoping for the best and looking at our phones every five minutes. We picked Mobile and love it so far. The city has great architecture. The people are kind and make us laugh.” 

Liliana: “I’ve learned so much from my mom. Just twenty minutes ago she taught me how to parallel park. I’ve avoided it for years. I’m going home after learning something new in Mobile.”

Eleania: “I’m so glad we chose to come here. I hope this is just a good mini-vacation.”

(Liliana’s home was fine, and they went back to Florida the next day)
