I love the American and British culture because of the music. I love the accent of the South and I wish I could imitate it

“This concert is something new in our lives. I am 55. I was a child and loved music and wanted to know what the singer said. I listened to Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Atlanta Rhythm Section and Molly Hatchett and began to learn English when I was seven. I have taught English since the 80’s. I love the American and British culture because of the music. I love the accent of the South and I wish I could imitate it. I want to be Anglo Saxon and work on my accent to sound British or American. My father listened to Frank Sinatra and he and my mother wanted to live in the U.S. The golden dream is to go to the US and settle there, but it is hard to get the papers. My daughter got there before us. She lived in Baton Rouge for a year and now she lives in Tampa.”
