“I grew up here and now I stay at home with three young kids, 9, 5 and 3. My husband works out of town. I am not always sane. I work out a lot and spend time with friends at the park. Little people talk at me all day long, but it can still be a lonely job. It goes from moments of cuddling up on you to fits in stores and the sympathetic looks from other people who understand. Every day is about them and I enjoy that but I think every mom at some point loses herself. I am getting to the point of needing more me time and one day I will have more of that. I get up at 5 a.m. some mornings and ride my bike and that helps. When my youngest goes to kindergarten I can start figuring out what to do with my life and one day I will go back to school. I am patiently waiting. Now they are getting into soccer, dance and Girl Scouts and I am not organized so we are always late. The youngest wears the girls’ socks or pj’s half of the day. It is surviving but I am so thankful I get to stay home with them.” #mom #stayathomemom #stayingsane
