“My cousin owns this house and we work with the person who owns this property to make a parking lot out of it during Hangout festival. I make about a grand over the weekend. I stay out here all day long. There are perks. Fine ladies walking down the street wearing next to nothing and hospitality. A lot of people kick me a free beer out of their cooler. I have seen anything from terrible drivers to a tractor trailer that ran over our sign last night. This is my second year to do this and I have met people from all over the country. I am a software programmer and there is not a lot of work for that in Mobile. The past 20 years I lived in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Mobile and wanted to come back here. Things are picking up in Mobile, but there is no tech. So I am parking cars here this weekend. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”
