“I was a union pipe welder and retired. I have been driving school buses for five years. It is my way of giving back. It’s a shame, but a lot of kids don’t get the training they need at home. I try to teach the little I can while they are with me.

Our school district is still feeding our students. They load my bus with food for the ones on my route and I take it to the bus stops. The kids meet me there and get the food. The kids need these meals and look forward to getting them. I talk to them cheerfully and remind them I will be back.

I never dreamed I would be driving a school bus and caring so much. It is a blessing to be a blessing. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for choosing me to be one of the many who is helping feed his lambs.”
