“I hitchhiked to California with only $20. I was at a really low point in life. I played baseball in college and when that was done I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t find my way. One day I had enough, packed my bag, and got to California in four days. I had no money when I got there and immediately started working in construction. I also worked on a farm called WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). You trade out work on the farm for food and a place to stay. I might be back here for six months or two years. I want to own businesses and properties around the world and I want to start music festivals. I love festivals. It is pure hedonism at its finest. It brings different people together. I want to touch people and change things but I only have $40 to my name right now, so I have to make a little money first.”
