“I retired in May. I worked on bridges for the county. I was on a tractor and got buried in a hole that caved in on me. It took all day for them to get me out, and my leg was all messed up. I was laid up in bed for two months; I am still in constant pain. I am bored. I spend a lot of time at this gas station and try to help out around the store. When you are alone, you think about a lot of junk, making it worse. I ask every day why I got hurt. One day the Lord will stop me from hurting.”
