“My wife died two years, six months and five days ago. We were married 40 years before cancer took her. We were blessed with three kids. I still have them and my granddaughter and great-grandson stay with me. That helps the loneliness a little bit, but it’s not the same,. I come to her grave every day. I was blessed to have her love. I was a supervisor at a machine shop and she started working there. We dated for a year and got married in 1976. She was a good woman. The creek on our grave is behind our house. It was her favorite place to go. I look forward to the day I get to be with her again.”
