“I have lived in Cuba all of my life. I have been a diving instructor for 32 years and before that I worked for the special rescue team in Havana. It was very stressful and dangerous. Now my life is relaxed and I love teaching people how to dive. I speak four languages. A little French, a little Italian, a little English and too much Spanish. This is the best time in Cuba. There are more opportunities for life and work. There are good changes for the people. I am glad Americans are starting to come here, but I am a little angry that Obama did not come here and learn how to dive with me. One day he will come back and say “Christono, I come to dive with you.'”
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.
