“I am about to go on tour with my band, Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards. I am a poor bastard. We have two trumpets, saxophone, piano, guitar, bass and drums. We play jazz punk and call it junk. It is time to go on the road and out of the Midwest. We had a successful Indiegogo and thanks to our fans we just bought a van and a place to put all eight of us and our instruments. We go on our first big tour in a month. This year we are releasing a new single a month, the discipline of sticking to that is making us a better band. Going on tour and marrying my best friend, this s a big year for me.”
