“We are on a date. We have known each other since elementary school. We have liked each other for over four years. Neither one of us can drive so we hang out and do whatever is handed to us.
“I liked him immediately, but I don’t think he picked up the hint. I was nine and about to be 15.”
“What do you like about each other?”
“The real question is what isn’t there to like. I like her sarcastic smile and how protective she is. It makes me feel cared about.”
“He is different and has a different soul. He listens to rock music and drums and everything he says makes me laugh. Everything.”
“What are your dreams for the future?”
“My dad is a movie producer and I want to work with him. I enjoy working with him and I am grateful to him.”
“I want to be a professional singer. I am going to Nashville at the end of this month. If I don’t do that, I will go into interior design.”
“We are a lot alike, but a lot different. It works.”

That is a great combinations… “We are a lot alike and a lot different”…that is the only way for it to work out. I remember being that young and thinking I knew everything about everything, if only I could flip time back 50+ years, …..(I would make mistakes, just different ones)
