“We voted for Trump, so we are happy today. Hopefully, we can all start working together.”
“It is time to get rid of Obamacare. No one can afford that. It started out cheap, but now…”
“Do you have Obamacare?”
“No. I am on Medicare.”
“A lot of people we know have it. They need to get insurance premiums down for everyone.”
“Trump said in his speech he is ready to put all of the bad behind and let’s move forward together. The last 18 months has been nothing but slamming each other and I am glad that is behind us. His speech seemed sincere and from the heart. You could see he was touched. We have a better chance of getting better with Trump.”
“He doesn’t have all of the answers, but he is a businessman and maybe he knows people who do. He is not going to let other countries run over us. it is time for China to pay an import fee on what they ship in here. That is not fair. Maybe he will stop illegal immigrants from coming here and terrorists from slipping in. I don’t know how you can check everyone out and stop the sleepers from slipping in. At least now he can get a few conservative justices on the Supreme Court.”

“I have lived in Elberta most of my life. When I was little, I worked in the corn shed and potato sheds. The good ole days. We all worked as children and made money. I cleaned condos and worked at the old Gulf Telephone for almost 26 years.”
“I built houses for 30 years. I have worked for a doctor and run his farm and game preserve for almost 20 years.”
“We have been married for 36 years. It is the second marriage for both of us.”

“It was hard when he was building out of town. He would leave on Sunday nights and leave me with the kids all week. I would cry about him leaving but always told him I will be here when you get back.”
“I fell and broke my hand. Broke both bones in four pieces and that ended building for a while.”
“We love life. We don’t see everything the same but choose your battles. What is the fight worth? We are together all of the time. We eat lunch together every day. If he isn’t there, part of me is missing.”
