I want to do something great one day but I don’t know what that is yet

“I tried out for American Idol. This was my first time doing something like this. I am not really a singer, but I felt like I could. I think I have a nice tone, but I don’t have the training. It was easygoing to audition. I went by myself and people were loving and helped me not be nervous. We stuck together.  I could not figure out the song that was best for me so I sang Rhianna’s ‘Love on the Brain.’ I sound a lot better when I sing by myself. This was an overcoming my fears moment for me. If I can keep practicing doing things like this, I will get better. I want to be something great one day but I don’t know what. I am a retail associate at a clothing store and I am into fashion and decorating. I am from Florida and moved to Mobile four months ago. Taking that leap and leaving my family to be on my own was a challenge. It took me a while to not be afraid to go out, but now I love it. I have met many people here. Bel Biv Devoe, Dru Hill, and Master P. All kinds of people come here. The food is good in Mobile and there is always something to do.“
