“I try and live my life following the three P’s–positivity, passion, and purpose. I love to help other people find their passion and purpose. I like to mentor young entrepreneurs who are getting out of college and wanting to start their own business. Positive people find on another and often the people I need to meet find me. I was a lawyer and have a degree in secondary education. I started a company called Tie Try, it was Netflix for neck ties and we went through the TV show “Shark Tank” after we had only been operating for 90 days. They asked a lot of questions we were still asking ourselves. We had ideas and projections, but no hard data. We didn’t get the funding, but it was a wonderful experience and massive exposure. We had a great Christmas season and sold the company a few months later.   I am always thinking of new ideas and writing them down. I am a better innovator than manager. I want to create it and build it and let someone else manage it.
