“I have been working at this gas station for almost two years. I was married before this and stayed home, but now I am separated. He left me. We had been together for 34 years. It is hard. I had to start over from scratch. After he left me, I was homeless and lived on the streets of Mobile for nine months. I came back here and the owner here, I love him. He is awesome. He gave me this job and helped me get through this. I have a place to live and I am getting back on my feet. I am working on getting a car. I am getting confidence in myself and I am better off. I am doing great and proud of myself for surviving. Living on the streets it was hard not to give up, but I knew something was going to happen and knew God had put me there for a reason. I saw what other people go through. Never give up, don’t look back, keep on going. My life is getting better each day.”
Good enough isn’t an option. It’s got to be the best I can do.

I just can’t imagine living on the street for 9 months! It took great courage I am certain. May God bless the gas station owner for helping you….and you for hanging in there for a brighter day.
