Death like this is the worst thing a family can go through

“There was an altercation. They were arguing and he got shot. He was a happy-go-lucky, fun guy. He worked hard and loved his children. He was my first cousin. Our moms are sisters. Boo was cool. We never had a cross word, even as kids. We are raising money to pay for funeral expenses. We are short $3,000 but people have been giving today. Death like this is the worst thing a family can go through. How it happened. That is why programs like Light of the Village are so important in this community. They offer kids a change and a chance to get away from this and learn about God and education. Even in a dark cloud, God still smiles on us.”
