I loved Denver and the mountains. My mother used to get up and open the door to see the mountain range every morning. We could see the snow on the foothills. I once went ice skating at 14 below and got frostbite. My gym teacher told me to shred an Irish potato, put it into a bag and put my feet in overnight and it would pull the frost out. It worked.”
