“My bonus child, Peyton, is graduating from Mississippi State. My daughter had him while she was in college, and I told her to get her education and keep going – I would help her raise Peyton. About that time, the Lord gave me a vision of having a baby, but I never felt the pain. Peyton has been a blessing.

Family is important to me. My mother raised me, but I didn’t know who my father was. I searched for years because I wanted to know the other 50 percent of my story. Why am I the person I am? I found my father through a DNA search, but he had passed away. I am going to Detroit next month to meet his only sister.

I met my husband at Bible college in Arizona. We are both pastors, and our ministry is The Sky Is the Limit in Tupelo. The Lord knows where we go from here now that our kids are on their own. Whatever it is, it will be successful because God is with us.

This graduation is a time of celebrating staying focused through challenges and new beginnings. God turns all things out for our good, and that is what I celebrate today.”
