“I am homeless because of the tornado. It happened at night. We just got the power restored. Now I have to clean out the wasp nests that have settled in the wood. I have been staying on couches with friends and family and it will be another month before I move home. The flood in ’94 and ’98 got me, too. I have nothing left. I keep praying. The Lord has my back and he has been taking care of me. I am lucky I have a place to go and something to eat. I have been working on other’s people’s houses that were hit by the tornado. We tear are tearing this down so they can rebuild.”
