“I was poisoned and got out of the hospital four days ago. I don’t know why or how it happened, but it makes you paranoid about everything. I am homeless but don’t ask for anything. I catch fish and cook them and enjoy living off the land. I don’t know where I go from here. I will stay here until the fish quit biting. I finished 12th grade but can’t read or write. School was hard. I was made fun of and picked on. The ones who picked on me are working fast food. I don’t trust anyone now, not even my family. Enjoying the small things keeps me going. As long as I am catching my own food I don’t have to worry about anything else.”
