“I am a picture taker who happens to take a photograph every now and then. Once in a while, I get the perfect shot. I lived in Washington D.C. and worked for the transit agency. I also took photos and had the opportunity to cover the White House and most of Washington. I covered President Obama, Mr. Bush and took a few of Donald Trump. I worked with Congressman Sanford Bishop who is a native Mobilian and was one of my classmates. He gave me a lot of opportunities to do things I wouldn’t have done.”

“I was gone for 50 years and moving back home to Mobile has been an adventure. Mobile has changed and I have had to relearn it over the last six months. I always came back for Mardi Gras and it was good to come home. I want to get involved with politics and help behind the scenes. I also want to give back by taking pictures here and share them with the Mobile Beacon and the city. I am in the sharing business. My dad said if it can’t be God-given no matter how hard you try, but try. That has been my guide.”
