I have ambitions to do well and make my parents proud

April 5, 2017

“I am 19. I am learning English, but it is so hard. In three years I will go to Britain for school and I want to learn how to talk like the Queen. I want to get a master in finance in Britain. I am studying economics right now. I first wanted to study architecture, but I missed the getting into architectural school by one point on the test. I have ambitions to finish my new dreams and do well and to make my parents proud. I don’t know if I will come back to Morocco. If I am homesick, I will come back. I love debating and was in the debate club in my school. I also love drawing. Here are pictures of my mother and Istanbul. I was with a group that went to Namibia to build schools. It was a great pleasure to make children happy. I am lucky that I have had the education I had. It breaks my heart to see beautiful Moroccan girls who are suffering from lack of education.”
