“I served in Korea for 18 months. I was in the Navy on a destroyer. It was cold as hell over there. After that, I went back to school and got my Masters degree and most of my hours for a Doctorate. I worked for a corporation for 40 years and made lots of money. I retired and moved back to southwest Missouri and bought a farm. Over 300 acres with cattle and 150 fruit trees. That keeps me busy and I give the fruit away.”
