“I was a police officer for 24 years and recently resigned. Now I do side jobs and working in this parking lot for the Alabama Contemporary Art Center is one of them. I have taken ownership of this lot and try to clean it up and make it look nicer for my customers. I park people here at night for the Mardi Gras parades and I am repainting the lines so they will be easier to see at night. People need to love where they live and work.”
