I went to church with 4 cents to my name and God said put it in the plate

“I moved here three years ago from California with my spouse because California was too expensive. We loaded up the RV like the wild, wild west and came east. We tried to come here for a clean slate, but all of the negativity followed us and she was drinking too much. It was bad. I divorced my wife and I got the RV out of it and am now living in it full time. I have peace of mind. I was married for seven years and I learned you can’t love a person enough to make them change. God granted my deliverance in August of 2016. It is good to be with myself again. I had put her on a pedestal and when it was over I had to put God in charge of my economics and me. I am 48 years old. Every decision I make now is crucial and has to be the right one. A few months ago, I went to church with 4 cents to my name. God said you know the story of the woman who gave everything she had, put it in the plate and I put it in there. Everything I had. I was down to zero. By December, my tithe was $69. That is the power of the Lord. I tithe now like I am paying the IRS. That 10 percent is gone baby. I used to be a personal trainer in California and made $3-5,000 per month. I was so stingy and so selfish and would lecture homeless people asking for money and then it ended up being me living in my car with no money and no gas and I had to ask for help. Someone lectured me for 50 cents and made me feel like was a crackhead over two quarters. I am in school now to be a yoga instructor. I am so grateful the Lord has restored me. My training ends at the end of this year and wherever the Lord leads my feet is where I am going to go. Despite the loss of my spouse, being here 3,500 miles away has been good for me.”
