“I am going through a shift. I spent a lot of time listening to what people said I should do with my life and it didn’t work out. I didn’t get any further in my life. This year I am listening to me. I didn’t want to get involved in real estate. It was a family business and I am a single mom and they told me I would make a lot of money. I did it for nine months and it didn’t work out. It was a good lesson. I have a new affirmation. It’s ‘I seek success, not approval.’ The shift started at the beginning of the year. It feels good to start clean and put the past in the past. I want want to focus on how I want to feel this year. By the end year of the year I want things to be totally different.”
