It is Never Too Late

April 25, 2018

“I am 69 and got my masters degree in addiction counseling. God called me to do this and there is such a need. My heart is for teenagers. We can catch them at a young age and help them. I was never addicted to anything, but I have family members who have been. One is still out there. Graduating feels awesome and my goal is to have my own practice. I am a retired registered nurse but I wasn’t retired long. I went back to school and got a BS in Psychology and then the masters. I did it online and there are times I thought I wouldn’t make it through but I kept praying. I loved it and may go back and get a doctoral degree. I hope the legacy I leave to my children and grandchildren is that it is never too late.”
