“Mardi Gras never stops for us. We build floats for three parades in New Orleans and four around Mobile. That is about 125 floats a year, almost all of them are remodeled every year. It is a renewing cycle and job security. Taking chicken wire off the old floats is one of the hardest parts. It slows down a little bit after Mardi Gras, but we keep at it all year.”
