“This is my 50th birthday. My best friends surprised me and brought me to Fairhope. we are from Mississippi, and I am an engineering professor at Mississippi State. We have been friends since high school in De Kalb, and we all turn 50 this year. This is a no judgment weekend to catch up and eat birthday cake all weekend. This is our first time on a trip together, and it’s our first time in Fairhope. We live in different places now and always pick up where we left off. ”

Thank you so much for sharing our story. We had the absolute best trip and loved everything about Fairhope. Thank you, also, for the Fairhope Floats! That was quite the surprise and treat. I did not get the lady’s name at Mr. Gene’s Beans, but she was so sweet also. We ran into her at Gambino’s that night and she recommended their Chicken Rocco with the pink sauce….divine! What a truly special weekend and 50 is already fabulous if this weekend is any indication. We can’t wait to return to Fairhope! I have also been reading your stories…..what a gift they are!
