“We are from Minnesota and winter in Gulf Shores. We come down here in December and leave in April to get away from the ice, snow and cold. We start at the state park and then go to an RV resort. We have made good friends here, so it is hard to leave. We met a lady last year who we were parked next to. She was in her 70’s and hilarious, this year we came back and she had an oxygen machine on and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. She only had a short time left and passed away two weeks ago. The last time she went into the hospital, the end was near. My husband asked her about her desire and she said to get off the breathing machine and he told her to do that. She came bac k to the RV park and we were all praying for her and she got better and we gave her a birthday party and she had a wonderful two weeks until she got pneumonia again and passed away. We start off the day thinking there is someone we will meet who we will make a difference in their lives.”
“It happens when we purposefully pray. God does miracles all of the time when you pray. Most people pass through their whole life thinking of their importance and trying to make themselves look good, but Jesus teaches us that when we do things for the least of us that we are doing it for him.”
“We know we were put next to the lady at the RV park. Other people now come to my husband for prayer and telling us what they are going through. .”
“We have been married for 17 years. We met at church and boating, biking and motorcycling are our favorite things to do together. We love getting out in God’s creation.”
