Souls Update.
I interviewed Vivian and her kids two years ago when they were still figuring out our to make their homeschool organic baking project into a family business. They were selling their cookies and muffins at the Saturday market at Cathedral Square. Today I ran into her again at the weekly food pantry at Central Presbyterian Mobile where she donates some of the cookies and cupcakes they make.
“I started Wonderfully Made Gourmet Organic Treats three years ago making cookies and muffins as a homeschool project with my kids. It took off from there. We are still baking at home but we are looking for a kitchen. We have expanded into cakes a cupcakes. My brother and I baked on Saturdays when we were children, now it is a business. We sell at the market at Cathedral Square and have a drop-off location at Bel Air Mall. I bring cookies and cupcakes to be given away at the food pantry at Central Presbyterian Mobile. I am thankful to be a part of this ministry because I can’t give back enough and want to do so much more. The more the business grows, the more I can give.”
