“I’ve liked Selena Gomez since she was in Barney when I was probably five. That’s why I got here at three o’clock yesterday afternoon to wait for the record store to open for Record Store Day. They have one of the vinyls that I want, and I’m not missing it. I guess this is me getting a part of my childhood.
My friend sat with me while I was at work, then my boyfriend replaced her when he got off work. We took turns sleeping in the truck. I had my computer, and we watched movies—Longmire, which is a TV show I just got him into, and Wicked for Good because I want that vinyl too.
I was sitting across the street yesterday waiting for this spot to be in the shade, and there was somebody behind me giving a tour of Fairhope. I learned that we have more writers here than anywhere else in the country.”
